...from Live Aquaria, specifically. Been thinking of going with a shoal of these guys as a kind of 'background' fish, for lack of a better term. Word is that the more common Green Chromis have been coming in sick and short lived lately so I'd like to know if this variety is worth the extra money. Also, is there any difference in personality? TIA.

Ours did not come from Live Aquaria, but we have kept several of them over the years. Other than the slight difference in color and the black spot at the base of the pectoral fin, we found no difference in their hardiness or their temperament compared to Chromis viridis. They will shoal w/Chromis viridis and we have frequently found them mixed together at the LFS.
