Black clown breeding

I was wondering if two black ocellaris clowns would breed if they just became a mated pair? The male size is 1 1/2" and the female size is 2". Also what anemone would best suit them? Cause I was thinking that a magnifica would work.

By definition a mated pair is breeding, and a breeding pair is mated. If you meant would a bonded pair start breeding, can't really say, there is no guarantee.

As for getting a Mag --- if this is for your 12 gallon, not a chance. If this is for a bigger tank, I would still recommend against it. They are one of the hardest of the hosting anemones to find healthy and to keep.

Ok. Ya the anemone would be for a bigger tank. But do you now any anemone that would best suit that of clowns?

One of my pair host to an H. Crispa, the other pair have two BTAs in their tank that they have never noticed.
