Please forgive my "noob" ignorance, but what do you do with black egg crate?

You can create a coral frag rack out of it, or for my fish only systems I use it to create a custom sized partition which I use to separate fish when adding new fish to a system (allows the newcomer to get used to the environment without having to deal with hostile reactions from current residents as well as gauge how they will get along when fully introduced).
