Black Emerald Crab?!!

I was looking at my sump and i found this guy. Has anyone heard of a black emerald crab. Just wondering i think he's unique. Sorry the pictures are so bad; its hard to do macro shots without an SLR. Thanks,

I'm not positive on this ID as I'm no crab expert at all, but it looks like a crab we saw in a LFS tank one time. The guy at the store ripped him limb from limb trying to get him out of the rock work. I believe he called it a European Green Crab and said that they are bad news. Hopefully someone will pipe up with a for sure answer though...

I have one I literally tore out of my 180. The damage was not intentional, but after months of trying to get him, he backed himself into a dead end hole in my rock work. He lost one of the pincers in the process.

He's still chilling in my sump/refuse quite some time later, regrown. I'm moving to a new sump/refuge soon, and he'll move with it.
