Black Friday Deals Local/Online?

That would be disappointing. I find the quality of livestock at stores with both fresh and saltwater to be considerably lower. The best reef stores in the East/South Bay are all saltwater only.

Really? Neptune is fantastic and has both fresh and salt. Albany Aquarium doesn't have as much of a variety as they used to but all looks healthy there.

I think that AC will actually do really well with having a freshwater section. They have the whole row of 15 gallons on the wall that they used before they got their new fish system in. I like them a lot. I wish I lived closer.

Well, Aquarium Concepts, I can see what you are talking about.

Lol, yeah Aquarium Concepts is the closest to me... I haven't been to Albany Aquarium and I don't recall Neptune having fresh, although I haven't been to their new store.

Local to me, I think of places like Pet Club, Connies, and Aquarium Concepts. Aquarium Concepts is at the top of that ladder...

It's worth a little extra drive for me to go to Diablo, Aquatic Collection, or California Reef Co., all (currently) saltwater only.

Neptune's old location had both fresh and saltwater although the majority of freshwater were cichlids...you had to make a left turn all the way towards the back in order to see the freshwater fishies section

I was at California Reef co this weekend and they mentioned that all acans will be 50% off on black Friday. I didn't ask what other deals they would have tho

Just talked to Jess and he said that Diablo Corals will be doing Black Friday deals also.

Should be announcing on DC facebook page soon

Thanks for the heads up! Grabbed the Omega 150.

All the newer Vertex stuff are really nice. I have an Omega 150 as well, and my wife bought a V6 pump for my birthday. It's at a good price now with the sale too. Expensive for a pump, but it's low wattage for an AC pump and is quieter and has more power than the DC pump it replaced.

Here's what was in the email...
