Looks awesome. I love the different shape these guys have and how the mantle meets the shell edge. Such a different look from Tridacna. Good stuff!

Thanks, they are truly bizarrely shaped. One of the weirdest thing about him is how he digs into the sand. I didn't know they did that.

Where did you get the hippo at? I can't ever find one.

I got him at a lfs, but they had them at pacificeastaquaculture last week they where a little pricey though.

It was my first time seeing one in person too so I snatched it up. The mantle is strange looking, nothing like a tridacna.
