Black Ice clown not hosting properly

Hello guys

I have a pair of black ice clowns that have been in my tank for about a month now. I have a GBTA and an RBTA , since first couple of days of fish being introduced the bigger clownfish keeps diving into the gbta and quickly swims out towards glass. She does that continiously throughout the day and doesn't really stay in the anemone which is kinda annoying to watch. Has anyone experienced this ? any tips ?

She has most likely not bonded with the anemone yet. It may take a couple of weeks for her to build trust with her host. BTAs are not natural hosts for Ocellaris, so it sounds like you are off to a great start already.

So you think even though the fish goes in and out of the nem/sucking on it tips, etc still doesn't mean she is seeing it as an acceptable host ?
the strange thing for me is that it looks like the fish is sort of seeing it as a host but is not sure lol and the GBTA also doesn't seem to mind it (never closes up when fish is in it and stuff) but still doesn't look like a natural hosting, that's why I thought maybe ppl have had similar experience they can share

I think she recognizes it, but she still has to bond with it. She's still building her immunity to an unnatural host.

Are you out of you mind, my clowns and many other doesn't look at the rbta then stay at the corner hosting it all day, now that's not hosting properly.

lol trust me, you would rather see them sitting in a corner than swimming in and out of anemone nervously like they're being chased by an imaginary net

Is the room dark? The clown could be chasing it reflection in the glass.
Is your tank grounded? Stray electricity from pumps and lights can leak into the water and stress out your fish.
