What do you thin of this Black Ice pair from proaquatix?

I don't really know how old they are. I am thinking about buying them and was looking for opinions on both of them. Does look like a bit of an overbite.

here is the anemone that I got for whichever pair of clowns that I end up with. Thinking of a pair of naked's also instead of the black ice pair.

I doubt it will go in that anemone. I have a pair of percs and have been through this already, as well as started a thread entitled Nem for my Percs. Some others have commented that RBTA's do not usually work.

I had the same nem and my pecs would not go into it. The Ritteri and Gigantia are the natural hosts for this fish.

I got a Ritteri yesterday and the fish tried to get into it before I even got it settled onto the rock.

This nem is not super easy to find and very delicate. Not good shippers. The Gigantia is even harder.

From some of the replies that I got, it seems like an H. Crispa (Sebae) may also be a likely candidate to work.

Nice looking anemone.
As for being a breeding pair.
A lot of the designer pairs that are sold will be siblings, and may be several generations removed from their parents. The store that you are buying them from may be able to tell you their f#. The higher the number the more likey you are to get some deformities from their offspring due to inbreeding.

yeah bubbles are not high on percs prefered housing list. agreed with the above statement as far as difficulty with anemone species. the next best anemone for percs is the long tentacle anemone (Macrodactyla doreensis) it is the most similar to the ritteri and gigantia which are natural hosts for percs in the wild. survival rate is awesome too with little issues if you have the right light and water chem. I know a local clown breeder swore by them for his breeding project.

I'm going to try to get a pair of percs to host in it if they don't can I get a ritteri anemone and keep it in the same tank. 180 gallon.

i think the clowns above's bodyshape are deformed. That is the problem with a lot of the highly bred clowns. IMO, the body shape of the clown trumped all coloration and marking. Ideal clown for me must have the natural correct body shape.

Agreed! They seem too long and slender.
