Black Ich on a yellow tang

I recently purchased a fat, and what looked very healthy, yellow tang. Last night, my wife and I noted some black spots on him. He's still swimming around a lot and has a pretty decent appetite. I've researched a little and formalin/freshwater dips were recommended. Is there anything I can add to my reeftank to ensure that they won't spread or am I just assed out? I'm moving him to my quarantine tank this evening so I'm not very worried about him right now, just the rest of my tank.

Black ich is a parasitic worm that drops off the fish to reproduce. To be sure to completely eradicate it, you would have to remove all the fish in the display.
