Black Meral spots

I have a mantis coming to me that was supposed to be a peacock, but from the sounds of it is not.

Only thing the seller can tell me is is it 3 inches, green with Red and orange appendages and black meral spots. Any guess on the species?

I can't find one on roys list like this.

I know of no species with black meral spots. G. smithii can have deep purple spots that in dim light look black. If the seller has correctly identified the meral spot structure, it is probably G. smithii.

I kinda knew that is what you were going to say Roy. Darn. I know Smithii are great and hard to come by but I got 3 now and this will be 4....
