Black screen and light spectrum

I had to build screen tops for my tank and went with black screen. Will this change the light spectrum? I am using G1 radions at 65% on natural mode. Should I have used white screen instead? Or doesn't it matter? Please advise....

I would have bought the clear screen material from BRS.
I would guess that using the black will cut down on light into the tank, just because the light won't pass through the material.
Change the spectrum? No, probably lower the intensity.

Open top, and wants to keep jumping fish in the tank (wrasses, gobies)... just a guess I do the same thing but with clear mesh.

Do you guys know the answer? I would appreciate some feedback.

And yes, it's to keep the jumpers in. I have lost 7 scissortails, 3 diamond gobies and about 5 anthias.

Personally, I am using a clear mesh over my new aquarium, and have noticed zero difference over my old aquarium with an open top.
