Black Silicone?

Probably a lame question, however, doesn't hurt to ask. :reading: Just want to verify that when tanks are being sold/built with Black Silicone, this means all seams, correct? Builder wouldn't caulk with clear and black would they?

Generally yes, all black or all clear.

Correct, when you tell them black silicone it will come with all black silicone.. You can always double check with them as well

if its got 2 colors of silicone i would be verry wary of buying it.silicone thats cured already will not stick to new silicone.it may not leak for awhile then start leaking at an inoportune time.well...guess any time is inoportune rofl.

Actually from what I have seen some of the newer off the shelf tanks have black silicone on the corners but use clear for the bottom. My 75g is this way, bought brand new.
