They look like black ich. I know shrimp cant get ich, but that's what it looks like. They are on his body and his legs. Very strange, I have never seen this before. Sorry no picture.
"Black Ich" aka "fluke worms" that you would see on a yellow tang. Thanks for the tip. I am aware that ich is not black. Sorry cant post any pics It just looks like tiny black specks on the shrimp. No bumps or fuzz just black specs.

Thanks for the response. Should I be concerned with his other tank mates? (2 tomato clowns, 1 pepermint shrimp,a couple of red leg hermits, and some snails)
