Black spots on tangs

I have recently picked up 2 tangs and am running them through qt. I have done 2 weeks of cupramine and am 4 days into paraguard. My lemon mimic shows these signs much more than the kole, but he also has these as well.
It has proved difficult to snap a photograph so I have found examples online. I have spent last week or so researching and have no real answers. Luckily it has been slow moving in my case. My lfs has lost 3 tangs in a few days time to this.

I don't see any photos. Also known as black ich. I am not sure, maybe the experts will chime in soon, but I thin Prazi-Pro may cure that. It is actually a worm parasite. I am assuming that is what it is without the pics.

Nevermind the photo just popped up after I wrote my post. Now I see it. I don't know what that is.

It's not quite uniform like black ich. It starts out as small blotches about the side of a pencil eraser of these tiny dot clusters. Here are more photos.

Not an expert, but it might possibly be black ich. if so you will need to treat with Prazipro if i'm not mistaken.
If not the other possibilities that come to my mind would be either a bacterial infection or maybe a reaction to the cupramine.

I don't think it would be a reaction the the Cupramine, the fish my LFS have lost were not undergoing any copper treatment and they suffered at an accelerated rate. I am thinking something bacterial or fungal at this point. It just doesn't look like any black ich I have seen. Not saying it couldn't be the case.
That being said, I al looking for some clarification before I step into medicating. Metroplex, Kanaplex, or Sulfaplex...

The more I look at the photos, the more I think it may be a ammonia burn.

I agree with above with theAngelfish. How long has this tank been set up? Reason I ask is the sand is pristine white and so is the coral decorations.

History of fish? You need a different LFS. My "guess" is uronema marinum.

I have seen something similar on other tangs. To my knowledge it usually doesn't end well.

I'm not not sure what it may be. Uronema is a possibility, but it could also be something completely different. My bet would be on the latter as I have so far only seen it on tangs.
One should always keep in mind that we usually only deal with a tiny fraction of parasitic, viral and bacterial diseases fish can have. Some diseases may be highly species or family specific, and unless they are common or affect a family of fish that are of commercial interest they may not be showing up in any fish disease books.

Just keep in mind the hundreds if not thousands of diseases that are kind of specific to humans and primates, a very young species and family.
There are thousands of fish species in hundreds of families that in some cases go back hundreds of millions of years. Just based on that I would expect a lot of different and sometimes quite species specific afflictions for fish to be out there that have not yet been recognized by science.

These are not my photos, examples I was able to find online. I was not able to get any good photos of mine. The qt tank has been setup for quite some time, ammonia reads 0.

I have felt with uronema before in anthias and the fish dropped within 24 hours of showing any physical signs of illness. The tang has had these spots for 2 or more weeks now.
And just to defend the lfs, every place gets sick fish in order from time to time. They moved to qt where the fish didn't make it.
