black sun coral feeding?

i got some black sun coral polyps a week ago and don't see its polyps pop out as much during the night as much as when i first put it in my tank. when i feed my tank i keep the PH off and squirt some water with food around them to entice them to stick out there polyps but they don't. anyone got any suggestions?

I find that these like more flow then the yellow ones.

When i had mine i placed it on the bottom and it would sometimes open but then i moved it up higher in my tank and directly in front of my powerhead and within 5min most of the polyps opened up and stayed open for a while, you could try that and see if it works

My black suns don't open nearly as much or as often as my yellows do. Both are still healthy as can be.

I also have mine in a high flow area and they open up nicely every night. I don't target feed them, but they seem to get enough food brought to them by the current.

what do you guys feed it? i fed mine mysis the other night but the pieces seemed too big. should i try brine instead?

you can chop it up smaller or try mini-mysis from H20 Life.
