Black tang

In case anyone is looking for a black tang. I just show 5 black tangs at Blue Ocean Aquatics yesterday.

What size were they? How much are black tangs going for nowadays?

Aquatic central has at least 1 maybe two as well on the smaller size. Aquarium showroom had some huge ones.

black tangs price are still very high even thou they are not rare like a couple of year back. you see them at every lfs now. IMO, the small one are easy to keep

True, they dont have that jet black color adulthood

Yeah, I've seen the hybrids. Looks more like a super-charged scopas lol. Aquatic Central has at least 2, maybe 3, last week and they're the real deal. Nice size too, 2 1/2 - 3", and very healthy.

really depends on how much of each fish they have in them really.

I had a Black tank hybrid that was jet black, but it had the neon blue squiggly lines that the scopas has, looked like a black tang that had gone down and had a fancy paint job put on it...lol

and ive seen "Black tank HyBrids that look like scopas with a tad more black (booooaaaaaring)
