I noticed some of those showing up on one of my clowns about 3 mths ago, never spread or anything till today I noticed a drastic change, they are not raised, and they are now on both clowns, on one more than the other, neither clown acts any different then they use to and have a great appetite along with normal poo's if any idea of what this is or how to treat it if needed please help out

Thanks
Ang

also, no spots on any of the other fish in the tank, just the clowns, the clowns are not hosting anything, nor have I seen them even try to host anything

Unfortunate about you not seeing them host...I saw my little male dip into the Xenia ever so briefly today :)

Doesn't look like a disease to me, either. I wouldn't worry unless they started acting sick :)

I think it is Hyper-Melaninzation doesnt look like disease to me either, but as everyone else on here my clowns are my babies, even if they dont host, although its possible they are trying to now when Im not looking, thanks for the great link Argon

It's kind of funny when I noticed this because with my Black Occ's they go the other way, they get lighter (oranger). I noticed little orange spots on them. Why an Orange Occ goes black when stung and a Black goes Orange when stung I will never understand. Oh well. Great looking fish Purple... Hey what type of camera you using? Tripod?
