is that hose also slipped inside your bulkheads? :eek1:

No you do not have to silicon barbed fittings, you can put a hose clamp on outside for safety if you like but usually they fit pretty tight. you will probably want to cut that off where you put silicon and then stick the barb in the hose

now you can see that I wasnt trying to be a d!ck, just trying to help you out. Ive been at this for alot longer than you, if you post up pics of your tank you are looking for constructive criticism, thats what we are all on this site for :)

i used a safe one but i got the other T thing this morning ace hardware was alot better service then home depot but now i have a diff big problem ive been trying to fix all morning my 2 smaller bulkheads where it gets pumped out is leaking and its tight so i cant findout why its leaking??? bulk head and T are barbed

the little rubber thing should be on the inside side of the bulkhead right????

and so people stop bugging me about the T here is the new one

ok so zack gave me a good idea and because its only a small leak im going to silicone the top of the bulkheads inside the overflows and hopfully that will stop the small leak we will find out tom when it drys.

Use metal clamps to fix the leaks. Will also give you peace of mind that they won't come loose.
love the rockwork.

good job on the tee

once again, silicon is not the answer to anything especially a leaking bulkhead

pull the durso drain pipe and drain the overflow box...
take the bulkhead off and dry the area REALLY good... if you come up from the bottom with a napkin and run your finger around the ring you can dry it up and make sure there is nothing where the seal will seat, not even one grain of sand...
clean the bulkhead off and the gasket off really well, make sure NOTHING is ont he gasket
put the bulkhead in from the top (gasket on the wet side) and tighten the nut. make sure not to let the bulkhead spin on the inside so the gaket doesnt get kinked... most people say hand tight but I think hand tight plus about 1/4 to 1/2 turn with a channel lock works good. it should be sealed.. if not something may be wrong with the gasket

well with my stand i cant get in to tighten up the seal the leak was only 1 drop every like 10 sec so it was only a very small leak so there will be no pressure on the silicone

ramtmac: Metal clamps in a marine enviro??? Might be OK if they are stainless. I've gotten away with multiple zip ties over the barbs with no problems, 2 zip ties on each barb.

You may want to ditch that black sponge on the return pump - if you haven't already. It'll get dirty and clog up pretty quick and make a nice place for nitrates to hang out.

sorry been gone for awhile been doing other stuff but tanks been doing good other then skimmer not working and need a new one. but here are some new pics for thoose who would like them :)
