I have a Blasto that I recieved about two months ago. It has not puffed up since I got it. It has been receded into its skeleton from day 1. The good news is that it looks the same after two months as the day I got it. No worse.
I also have a Favia, Trach, and Plate that I got at the same time. They are all doing great. The Favia is a pig and eats whatever it can get.
I have 6 x 24 watt T-5 lighting. Run about 6 hours per day. Initially my Favia bleached with a 10 hour photoperiod so I tuned back my photoperiod to the 6 hours and that seems to have helped it.
