Bleach smell dangerous?

My aquariums are in my living room. The person who lives upstairs decided they had to clean their balcony using what seems like an entire bottle of bleach. It has of course splashed all over my patio and into my screen door. THE smell is so strong its hard to breath, but its all over the door so i don't want to open it up to air it out. The whole room reeks and it burns my eyes.
Now I am sensitive to bleach, so maybe its just this bad for me.
But what is the danger level to my tanks. and how can i help reduce the danger?

It may not be a problem for the tanks, but I would turn off any air pumps or venturis just in case. I would be more worried about the effects on you. Maybe adding some dechlorinator to your tanks as a precaution? You can't be too careful. Make sure the landlord knows the situation and speaks with the tenants at fault! That could technically constitute a 'chemical spill' and be marked hazardous, but I don't work for the CDC or hazmat units...

you should be ok but yeah if it's in the air it can end up in the water, kinda like spraying air fresheners and what not .... not to good
