Bleached Anemone Help

Work In Progress
I am certain this question has come up before int he forums. I can not see any helpful info. I have a rose tip anemone. I have had it for about 3 years and when I first got it it was green and doing well. Over the last year or so it began slowly to become clear/white. What can I do to get it back to color? It is in a new tank with LED lighting cause I figured the lighting was causing this. Any help would be appreciated.

Tell us about your setup.
How many LEDs?
What size tank?
How long has it been set up?
What are the parameters?

Usually low lighting or bad conditions will cause a gradual bleaching.

The new tank has been set up for about 2 Months. It is a 55 ga corner bow tank. I have 4 pan aroma pro Ecoxotic 19w. I have 2 all blue and 2 blue/white.

What parameters do you want? Again it has been like this for a long time before it was introduced into the new tank. The last tank it was in definitely had bad water and lighting quality. The new tank is much better and stable. Trying to figure out how to bounce it back now.

Strong lighting and stable, clean water is the way to go. And feed it thawed mysis every couple days. FYI a tank that young will be subject to fluctuations in the parameters that you may not notice.

The parameters that are relevant are salinity, temperature, alkalinity, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and phosphate.

The tank is currently at 1.022 salt, 77 degrees temp, 0 Ammonia, 0 nitrite, few small amount of Nitrate, and 0 phosphates currently.

Ok. For anemones, the salinity is too low. I would recommend 1.024-1.026 for improved results. Everything else looks fine. Oh yeah, and pH is important too. I forgot that one.

BTAs are very hardy and often will recover from bleaching. However it usually takes a couple months at best. Sometimes a year or so.

It has been like this for a year in my old 5 year old tank. Eitherway, what should I be feeding it? How often? When healthy....Is there a good liquid food out there for anemones? I bought some photo feast for my clams. Thanks

See post #4. Mysis every couple days is ideal. Or else SMALL pieces of shrimp, krill, squid, or scallops.

Once healthy, feed less often, maybe not at all. But to my knowledge they do not have much use for liquid foods.
