Bleached anemone

So I have this anemone.. I tried google but I didn't get the answer I was looking for, my question is; what do I do for my anemone to gain back its color?

I've been feeding it, it eats well, but I read of people keeping bleached anemones that eat, and grow but eventually they still die.

What do I do for my anemone to gain back its color?

Is there something other than feeding it? Maybe some specific foods?

Thanks

Good water parameters and feeding will bring it back. Decent lights should help as well, though Haddonis don't need as intense lighting as other anemones.

I would agree with what Randy said above.
If it have been bleached for a while, 4-6 weeks at least without any evidence of return of zooxanthellae, then zooxanthellae transplant is an option. I would get a few tentacles of a healthy anemone (optimally a Haddoni) and put it on food and feed it to the bleached anemone. This should boost the return of the the zooxanthellae to the bleached anemone.

Thank you both.

I'll be following that thread and see how it turns out.

Petco just got another anemone, but its brown, will that work? Is it supposed to be brown?

When your carpet regain his zooxanthellae, he will be brown with green tint

Awesome, the one that my local petco has is exactly that, I'm thinking about buying it, but soon so I'll wait. The one I have was there for around 3 months before I purchased it, so hopefully that one stays there until I'm ready to buy it.
