I have a 90g tank that has 2 150w Mh and 4H5to that sit 6 inches from the water. I had a green slimer that i was keeping really low in the tank. For some I reason i decided to move it up in the tank slightly and it immediately bleached. I now have ti back down on the sand but it's lost most of it's polyps and is pretty bleached. Is there a way to save this piece or is it a goner? Should i put it out of the light for a while? THis isn't the first SPS i've bleached, i dont understand how I bleach SPS with only 2 150w MH?

how are your other parameters? if all other parameters are in line that it must be your lighting. it might be too strong for your tank. how deep is it?

clip off and dead parts. The coral was probably shocked from the immediate change in light intensity.. Always keep that in mind when moving your corals around the tank..
