Bleached Stonys

i would leave them in there. What caused the problem? Can you post your params? How long have you had the corals? If it happened to all of them than you should know the reason pretty easily by testing water. Also, if it is only stony corals do not remove them, there is a chance they can regenerate. And if they do not, well they will just add to your live rock and be encrusted in coraline anyways.

sorry to hear, i just had a stony bleach in about 12 hours with no warning. no paramaeters are any differnt than they were about a week ago. oh well, i like softies better anyway.

everytime I go away, something is ****ed up when I return
Well I've been gone for about 6 weeks, I'm in the Air Force and left for training. I had my buddy check on it every other day or so. But he just so happen to have leave. So the tank was un-maintained for about a 5 days. I haven't had the time to do anything to it yet. I will do a large water change and see what happens.

Could have been several things within that time period.. Do you have an auto top off system, possible salinity swing, or possibly temp fluctuation or even a calcium/alk depletion.

It looks like it was all of the above. I checked my params and salinity and calcium was low, very low.
