bleaching rock?

so i never bleach rock before, what's the process on doing it? how much bleach for, how long do i soak it, and how long does it take to make the rock reef ready? i have 350lbs to work with.

I have used vinagar to clean rocks befor, seems to work well, I dont have any experince with bleach though.

You can use bleach to remove organics but I also prefer to use acid (usually muriatic) to remove PO4. If you use bleach you can rinse it and use dechlorinator afterwards. SOme folks just let it try out so the bleach evaporates. I have only used bleach before an acid bath so I was not worried too much about the bleach.

dont bleach your rock, your rock will become fragile. stick with white vinegar or do like i do and let it sit outside in the sun for a week or two
