In May I bought a tank for cheap that was infested with hair algae. This blenny came with my tank. We took down the tank at 9am and put the fish and CUC in a 5-galloon bucket and all the live rock in a large tote. The rock was so stinky I almost puked several times. I was rethinking my purchase at that point. It was in May and hot. I cleaned the tank and set it up in my living room, added water and salt and started pumps. . I took the rocks 1 by 1 and cleaned them in the water with a brush and cut off algae with scissors the best I could. I rinsed them in fresh water and put each piece in the tank. After about 6 hours I was done and took the tote down to the curb to dump it out. There was a bunch of rubble in the stinky black water. I dumped it all in the gutter. As I was walking away I saw something moving, it was this blenny. I picked him up in my hands, ran inside an tossed him in the tank. I didn't see him for three days but he is still alive today. The clown fish in the bucket died but the green chromis and CUC made it. I just would like to know what he is?
