Blenny ID?

I was sold this as a Lawnmower Blenny????

I know it's not a Lawnmower, but I can't find an ID for this one anywhere.

It has a scarlet red dorsal fin and irridecent spots over it's face and around it's eyes.

Sorry about the poor pictures.

Possible starry blenny, hard to tell from the photo. Their coloration changes, especially from day to night, and they like to pick off algae from the rock.

We'd call that a lawnmower or algae blenny over here. Its a Salarias fasciatus and they do darken and lighten depending on mood.

Agreed, great photos by the way too... Looks pretty lush and nice for an ole lawnmower. Great face shot too.

Lawnmower.

They change colors when stressed...my Midas Blenny (normally yellow) was almost black/purple when first introduced to my QT.
