Blenny in a Bottle

I thought I would share this. I got an "eyelash" blenny about 3 weeks ago. Can't get an accurate ID, but I think it might be a chesnut eyelash blenny. Anyways, he has been stirring up the substrate in my reef tank to point of aggravation, and was starting to slow it down some. Then about an hour and a half ago, I saw him going after my clams. Blenny is now relocated. I took an empty Dasani water bottle, tied a string to it, put a few frozen brine in, and within an hour his curiosity got the best of him. No disruption to the reef and the clams look like they are thanking me.

so they are not reefsafe?....good trick with the bottle..i have to try that...

This particular one wasn't, at least and after he took a bite out of clam mantle I wasn't going to find out anymore.
