Blenny is "scratching" on the sand

I have a large 6" Midas Blenny that has started scratching his side on the sand over the past couple days. I don't see any white spots on him or anything that looks irritated.

Any ideas what could be causing it?

My Midas Blenny is doing the same, also be is scratching his tale with his mouth. If some have the answer of this, please? Thanks

What is the history of the tank and inhabitants? Was the blenny (and other inhabitants) quarantined? When was the last fish added?

The tank is fairly new. I finished the cycle 3 months ago, and there are 4 other fish that are doing great. He doesn't do it quite as much as he was, but still does it every once in a while. They all seem to be healthy still.

No quarantine other than drip acclimation
