Blind Trigger?

All,

Anyone ever have a trigger that seems to go blind? I have a bluethroat
trigger in my tank, always been a good eater etc..and about the last 2 weeks
he has had trouble finding food on his own.

When a flake does hit him in the face, he can eat it...but it's tough.
He will eat if I hand feed him as well, but he just hides in a corner
for the most part.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I wouldn't say he's blind. He's probably very stressed.

If your water parameters are correct, add a bit of garlic guard liquid into frozen food and let it sit for 10 minutes then feed.

Seachem Entice is an all natural scent and flavor enhancer for finicky eaters. Simply soak any food item in Enticeâ"žÂ¢ to attract the interest of finicky eaters. Ideal for all marine and freshwater fish.

DIRECTIONS: Briefly soak food prior to feeding or add 1 or 2 capfuls directly to aquarium in the same location in which food was just added. Shake well before use. There is no danger of over use so use as liberally or sparingly as you find necessary.

What do you feed him? most of the time blindness is cause by a lack of good nutrition.
Garlic is a good start, but he is going to need a lot of special care to keep him alive.

Thanks for the responses...I have moved him to my QT tank and have been feeding him Formula 1 flake, Frozen Mysis, and he would eat green Seaweed Select too.

I will try the garlic, I use Garlic Extreme if there seems to be a parasite problem or something, but it definitely worth the try.
