Had my Naso for about 4-5 months already. never a problem with him/she. He/she is about 5" now. Is eating extremely well seaweed and premium reef flakes. Is acting normal. Breathing normal. Is housed in a 180 gallon with live rock. Current tank mates are: 2 Bangai cardinals, 2 cleaner skunk shrimp, pair of O. Clowns, 2 blue/green cromis, blue tang 4 1/2", pink spotted goby, royal gramma, 1 cristata coral and 1 hammer coral. Tank parameters: Salinity 1.025, Temp 78-79, pH 8.2, Ammonia 0, nitrates 0, Ca 450, Dkh 8.3, Phosphates undetectable. I came from an overnight trip and noticed these spots. What could it be?

Tangs have the ability to change body colors suddenly. these spots are typically stress related which disappear quickly when the stress is removed. are the spots still there now?

My PB Tang gets splotches like that from time to time. I suspect it's from rubbing up against a coral or swimming too close to my GBTA.
