Unfortunately, in a reef, there are none that work.

You'll want to look at the ich stickies in this forum. Basically, all the treatments require you to move all your fish to a hospital tank for treatment. Your display tank needs to sit empty for 12 weeks. The reason for the 12 weeks... the only option for a reef setting is to starve out the parasites. Their life cycle can last up to this long... possibly even longer. Nobody has a definite answer for a 100% kill. However, that does not mean that if you have the means to do it that it isn't worth trying.

Yeah, bite the bullet and get the QT. You cannot survive long in this hobby without one. UV will not cure ich and garlic does even less. Also, ALL fish that have been exposed to these fish need to be treated.

I got a 90 gall with my old wet and dry that i have put away im gonna set it up after the water change since the water is gonna go low i have a better chance to catch the fish....and yess im pulling them all out ....

Any specific meds you recomend?

Unless the ich is really bad, sure. The 2nd dose of PP can wait until after the ich is treated. PP treatment is really just a few days.

Well unfortunately the blonde naso passed :sad2:

I did my water change on monday 50%.....ich is very minimal yellow belly has only a few dots she is eating and acting fine.....should i do my second dose of pp or should i wait a little longer to make sure i get most of the parasites?

Now the sohal is rubbing on sand no heavy breathing just rubbing i know ive seen him do it but now more obvious i guess ive noticed it more ever since ive been paying real close att to all of them and my girlfriend watches them during the day...
