Blood orange clownfish partner

Hey all,

So I just picked up a 3" blood orange clownfish. I know it is half maroon and half ocellaris. My question is, what type of clown can I add as a second. Will a full maroon or full ocellaris work or does it have to be another blood orange? Thanks

From what i've read about the Blood orange clown is that its temperment is a bit more aggressive than the Ocellaris. I would reccomend the Ocellaris. There could be problems if the Blood Orange Ocellaris is female and you pair it with a Maroon male / Juvi.

I think you would be best with a ocy clown, but a maroon may work also but can be difficult to pair, same with all maroons.

I would go Ocellaris, may be even a designer version like Snowflake to take this hybrid to another level. LOL

Had a snowflake and it mysteriously died, but that's a good idea for another try
