Blood Red Fire Shrimp

Are these shrimp reef safe and if so, are they a good addition to a reef tank?

yeah they are great because they are in the cleaner family. Tangs love them because they serve a purpose. I have two large ones in my reef and want to add more. They are cool!!!

i love mine as well! When he was first added he tried to clean my clowns but they wouldent have it. He really doesent make any effort to clean anymore, but he hangs out under his ledge and is a cool little addition

My sailfin loves the one in my tank. I thought there was something wrong with him, I didn't realize that they had cleaning behavior. Good thread!

Will they get along with another regular cleaner shrimp?

most cleaners skunk and blood red will get along with most shrimps except be killed by coral bandids and mantis....

Yeah they'll get along with each other. I have one Blood Shrimp and a Cleaner Shrimp in my 55. They "hang" out with each other all day long.
