just got my aquarium up and running then, everything was fine till i ran my vacuum and now i got no power in my living room in any outlets and my lights dont work, is this blowing a fuse because this never happened to me, and what do i do

Find your breaker box. Open it... Find the breaker that is between on and off. Turn it off and back on. You should be good to go, but don't vacuum ever again:)

Check with an electrican to see if you can change out the breaker. You may have a 15 amp breaker, if so ask the electrican if it's ok to put a 20 amp breaker in its place. In some cases this is possable. LOL
PS. This is assuming that nothing else is wrong, in any case you should have a electrican check it out to be on the safe side.

Changing out the breaker is probably not a good idea as the wire may not be rated for the load. Better to have a dedicated 20 amp outlet installed for your aquarium. I had two installed to run mine. I currently drawin about 10 amps on each which allows my wife to plug in vacuums and the like when needed.
