Blown fuse?

So yesterday my Viper MH light did not come on as scheduled. I tried plugging it up directly to the wall rather than through the timer thing but no dice. I took the fuse out and it looks like the wire in the fuse has a break in it so I'm assuming that means that the fuse is blown? Does anyone know where I can get a new fuse? It's fairly small, a glass cylinder with metal ends.

Thanks!!

Is it your standard Buss fuse? If so you can find them at Lowes or HD. Maybe a pic, if you can get one.

It looks like this. It is about 3/4" long and has one thin wire in the glass portion.

Auto parts store. Just make sure it is rated for the same amperage. There should be a number on the silver end marked "number A", where number = 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, ... and the A stands for amps. Bring the fuse with you if uncertain, auto parts store people should easily be able to help you.

Yeah should def be able to find these at just about anywhere, Lowes, Hd, napa, etc, etc. Just take it with you and open the packaging to make sure that it matches before you leave the store completely.

Well, I found a new fuse at Radio Shack and so far, so good. I've been watching it and don't see any problems but the guy at Radio Shack brought that up too... Hopefully it was just a power surge or something...
