Its most definitely not any stag the polyps are coming out very far and the corallites are to close, No doubt its a nice coral, and going to probably turn all blue.
No, the growth pattern is definitely not stag type, and yeah, I did see the mother-colony when I got the frag, and was a really nice dark blue bushy type of acro, to bad he didn't know the species. But the most important thing is that it is a beauty, and grows really well, over 1cm on each branch each month. One of my favorites in the tank for sure ..
Actually, just came to think of it, I think this is the mother colony. Even though the color is actually a lot better in real life, a dark real nice royal blue.
Not Tenuis IMO. Tenuis have a flared rounded coralite opening.
It looks alot like Chips Acro, and I have yet to get a difinitive ID
on chips. Maybe Bottle Brush as mentioned.
