what else can I do?

Lymph will normally respond well to good conditions but it may take some time, and it may appear to get worse before it improves. Keep up with your water changes, good diet, and it will eventually recede, but be patient. I've purchased fish with this condition and it has always resolved itself sooner or later.

Hikari packages an ocean plankton that is a very good food that absorbs Selcon and liquid vitamins very well. You might also add some uncooked frozen prawns to the diet. Try and add some Beta glucan to the food (immune stimulant). I have seen a fish food that has Beta glucan in it. It is Azoo brand and available in flake and pellet form. I would not use it all the time, because the food ingredients are formulated for freshwater fish. Actually several brands of aquarium fish food now claim to contain Beta glucan (i.e. Prime Reef by Ocean Nutrition). Who knows if any of them use a high enough dose to be beneficial. I also reduce the salinity to combat lymphocystis. I believe this conserves metabolic energy making more available for healing. Anything that you can do to improve water quality and reduce stress is a good idea.
