Blue Anthelia

I bought some blue anthelia over this weekend and was wondering where the best placement is for this coral? It has not opened up yet and seems to be unhappy where I have placed it. I have it in a 210g tank midway down under a 400 watt halide and two 160 watt VHOs lighting. It is in moderate flow. I just want to make sure I have it in the right placement and flow. All water parameters in the tank are good.

Nitrate- 0
Nitrite- 0
PH- 8.1-8.2
Ammonia- 0
Alk- 2.0
Cal- 400

I know that the brighter colors of Anthelia require more lighting because they tend to be from shallower waters, but I purchased tan Anthelia, did two hour drip acclimation and placed it on the bottom of the tank under PC lighting and he started opening after only a couple of hours. I fed Phytoplankton this morning and he went crazy :) I have Xenia on the bottom of another tank under 250 ME and he is growing gangbusters. He might just be really sensitive and tank longer to acclimate? Or you might try starting him lower? Good luck. I would love to have some A. Flava so let us know what you find as far as his happy location :)

BTW I love your qoute line! I have found myself saying that to hubby many times lately.....ROTFL

Thanks, for the reply just does not seem like this strain of anthelia seems to like it anywhere. I have the tan anthelia and have never had any trouble but this blue strain is much different. It might just take awhile for it to get used to my tank. If anyone knows anything that will help me with this coral I would appreciate it.
