Blue Blanquillo/Malacanthus latovittatus

Anyone with any firsthand experience with these? One recently showed up at a favorite LFS with kind of a "what the heck is that". We've ID'd it 100% to a malacanthus latovittatus, about 5-6" in length and eating like a pig.

I've already done fishbase.org and wetwebmedia but they don't tell me much beyond the science-book stuff. Looking for firsthand knowledge or experience with these guys....

I work at an LFS and we've had a couple come in. However, they never lived for more than a week. We haven't had any as large as the one you've seen, but the smaller ones didn't seem to do very well.
