Blue cloves growing on my zoanthids

So I had a frag of blue clove polyps and decided to set in my tank, next thing i know they had spread all over the place and are growing on my zoanthids! Are the clove polyps going to bother my zoanthids? and is there any way to get rid of them on the zoanthid? Thanks

I had them in an older tank of mine and they smothered a few zoa/paly frags. As far as I'm concerned blue cloves are a pest.

Blue cloves can be a real pain.. They spread with a mat like zoanthids do. However, the worst part about them is they also reproduce with eggs. They can pop up completely across the tank, on top of corals, etc..

If you can get the rock out use a razor and 'scratch' them off as if you were shaving ice. Just dodge the zoanthid polyps.

a nice regal angel or asfur angel will clear those up in no time. of course it will probably also eat your zooanthids as well.

Thanks for all the advice. I will try a few of the methods and see if I can't get rid of most of the blue cloves.
