Blue dazzler

Anyone here have a frag or colony of this? I have a tiny nub that hasnt grown for squat. Its finally starting to encrust its plug. Its also kind of browned out but the encrusting growth is a lighter color and the polyps are blue. I cant find any info on this thing and the person I got the frag from has fallen off the face of the planet. I want to see what this thing is supposed to look like. Also want toknow what lighting and flow it likes. I've had this thing for a few months now under 400w radium bulbs sitting on the bottom of a 32 inch deep tank. I just now moved it up in the tank to hopefully see a difference.

Umm its an acro. More than that I dont know. My piece isnt even an inch nub. Im pretty sure its a fragfarmer frag but didnt find any info on it.

and why in the world would I post a pic of a browned out nub? Pretty sure my topic is straight forward and asks for info on this coral. It doesn't say hey come here to look at pics of my beautiful blue dazzler. Had I done that yes you would be correct in saying a pic was missing but I'm quite sure I didnt.

I got one of those from Joe as well but it did not make it. Im thinking it was one he put a fancy name on. Like his barney purple, or the matrix I got. To bad its not growing fast I would trade u some matrix it is growing like a weed but is holding the incredible brown color.

Well I was able to do a search and did find out its a real name from fragfarmers.. But cant find any info on it. Hrmmm the matrix I think I remember him posting pics of that. Do you have the ora hawkins? I will trade you a frag of that for the matrix if you dont have that yet. Or maybe a piece of my bird of paradise. Let me know marcus

i got 2 colonys of hawklins, i got the real blue matrix and then joes matrix. I got close to 200 corals now what do u have that is doing good and u want to trade a small piece? im about to put up stuff that i broke in the last cleaning

And your.post is worthless. If I asked hey what light and flow does the red planet like you wouldnt need a picture to tell me would you? If you dont have a blue dazzler or know what one is how would me posting a picture help you answer that for me? Again.. My thread title doesnt say hey look at this picture and tell me if you think this coral looks cool.

I swear reef elitist are some of the worst people out there. If you dont have an answer to the question because you dont have the coral why bother to ask for a picture? Will seeing this awesome blue dazzling coral magically give you the strength to answer my questions?

Pictures aside.... even if you had a picture of a colony how would that help you since you have a browned nub.... comparing the two would do you no good.

even if its brown maybe the encrusting part could give some clues to other SPS keepers and give you some pointers, maybe its not what you think it is at all?

I bet the person that fell off the face of the earth might of made it up, if your having issue's finding any info on it, it might be because its actually given another name. Usually common names of SPS peices people will cough up pics.

Just imagine... if someone asked for a pic or you posted one, the direction of this thread could be different.
