I was just wondering if its normal for Blue Devils ( the ones with the yellow tail and a black spot near the end of the dorsal fin) to breed in aquariums? I found a cluthch of eggs on the glass yesterday with one of the 2 Blue Devils fanning and mouthing the eggs. I am assuming that it was the male taking care of the eggs cuz the other fish looked kind of haggard and plus you could see the ovidepositor. Unfortunately the male picked at the eggs and ended up eating them all. I think it was their 1st time mating and the male, being inexperienced, ate the eggs. I hope they do it again because it was fascinating watching the male go from meany to father.
