blue face angle lps safe?????

can anyone tell me if a blue face angle is safe with lps, like acans. please let me know. i'm intrested in buying one. thanks Jas

I have a 8 in blueface and a 6 in half moon in a 265. I have plenty of lps. Acans, lords,blasta,hammers,torch,frogspawn,candy cane,mushrooms,all kinds of leathers,a 28lb gigas clam, and a hand full of sps. The only things he ate in my tank was fleshy open brains and zoos. Zenia will also be a good meal for them. Good luck

Angels in a reef tank is like rolling the dice. Some have success while others don't. It think a great deal depends on the personality of the fish. Other factors include tank size, how much you feed them, and more specifically the type of angel with the type of coral. The problem is that the fish may do great in your tank for a year and then suddenly develop a taste for your corals and before you know it your prized coral is gone (funny how they seem to go for those first).

Even if you do have success it could turn at any moment that it decides that he wants to try them, and a angel can reak havoc esp a large one. I had a 8 inch emp angel and he got along with everything fine till i missed a feeding and he sampled zoa's.
Well he didnt sample that small infact he ate every zoa i had except one toxic paly colony.He went on to eat my micro's and acans that i just started getting into.
He did most of his damage in 24 hrs. He even decided to munch on sps tips. I wouldnt believe it if i didnt see it.
I thought i could take some collateral damage, But when he started with sps he had to go. Now he's in a nice big FO tank and happy.

hey buddy i agree with the dice rolling. If u don't care about loosing some $ do it otherwise stick with some other critters. In my expirience all angels including pigmies r off limits LOl
