Blue Gigantea in NH

Just a heads up for anyone looking. Sw a very healthy looking bright blue gigantea today at a local store. Stunning specamin. Hope it goes to someone who has a sutable tank for it. If you are looking for one it is worth the drive.

It is very good looking. Tight closed mouth, tenticles that move on their own. I watched it eat a silverside.

The store said they were very reluctant to ship it especially at this time of yer. Both the weather and the christmas shipping crazieness would make it dangerous for the anemone.

Can I post the price? I don't want to break the rules of this section of RC. I know stuff like this is a headache for the mods.

Didn't have my camera, but I might have to get back and take some if for nothing else than to have some ID pics on my hard drive.

Have to gear up for catching clown fry tonight though so I may not have time.

Please :D You sit there and mention it and don't give any pics--that's teasing :(

OK, pics and even a video clip :) Now are we happy?
Click a pic and go to the first picture in the album to see the tenticles moving on their own. you can also zoom in on the pics in the album.

Big, but not massive. 10-12" like it is now, probably quite a bit larger once it is settled into a system.

It is at Aqua Addicts. I agree, great reef shop.

Wow, I want it! I want it! But I am clear on the other side of the country! (Seattle, WA). Anyone want to buy this thing and ship it to me after the new years? (Of course, I would pay for it). Would the kind author of this thread be willing to PM me the price? :)

Sorry folks, this was has been sold and is doing well in my tank :D I passed on it yesterday but couldn't resist today. I'll post some pics in a few days.

Congrats chiton! Please take some new pics of it in your reef when you get a chance. I hope it does well for you. I was first in line for it if they decided to ship it after Christmas. Luckily, I found a nice blue gigantea for myself here locally, but I would have ordered this one too if it was still for sale next week ;)
Good score!
Please keep us posted on how it does.

Oh, you lucky chiton! If it was local, it would have been mine :) I am sure you will take good care of it and enjoy it. I agree, pictures in your tank are a must!

Here's some pics. He's still not overly excited to be in my tank, as his mouth is open, but not inverted.
