Blue Gigantea

I am in the process of setting up a 30 gallon breeder. It has a Aquatinics 5 bulbs t-5 fixture.

I was going to just move all my RBTAS (16" and 10") and my Purple Base Green Bubbletip(4") to the tank. I did some reading up and really think i should go with a gigantea for my Akindyinos pair. If i go with the Bubbletips i was going to place the short end of the 30 breeder against the wall and do a rock formation coming out like a small reef.

Last night my girlfriend and I saw a green gigantea. She was blown away. I told her about the blues/purple and gave her a quick lesson thanks to joyces book.

Here are my questions?

Is there a certain time of the year when they are more readily available?

Is that lightening gonna be enough since the tank is 12 inches high.

The lighting should be fine. Did I read that right? Are you putting all of those anemones in a 30 breeder?

No either the blue or an all bubble tip tank.

Im not that crazy.



The blue would def get to big and take out the bubbletips.

Hehe, gotcha. I was going to say...
I would love to get a Gigantea for my tank but its a 30" deep tank lit by T5's. i am not so sure that the carpet could survive that deep with T5's.

it really doesn't work like that, Blue gigantea do not pour into this country all the time..

watch live aquaria divers den and call your Local fish stores ask them to order them.

They are so hard to get . And when you get one i just as hard to keep them alive.

im lookin for one of any color. Pref not brown but hey ill take it... NOOOO one has them.


All the LFS say yea we can get them but not now. and vendors yea right.....

Call Aquarium Center at blackwood, NJ and talk to Domenic he may be able to get one for you.
