Blue Haddoni came in at LFS but...

tassod

He's not looking healthy at all. Foot not attached and has a gaping mouth. Here is a pic:

Tried to negotiate for reasonable deal given situation so I can attempt to treat him at home but could not come to a deal. I urged owner to treat him, hopefully he does, too bad, dont think he will make it if not treated.

The color always looks a lot darker when they shunk up like that. He is a nice anemone but not as nice as many people think.

i see white smoke from that picture.

also, the pancake look.

i would not waste my money on it if it were me.

I agree with Pinkskunk. Ab\ntibiotic or not, looking like that in the tank and it have been there for 2 weeks, it is likely beyong saving. We will never find out but likely tassod was lucky that they did not want to bargain with him

With haddoni, I think when the mouth is gaping as badly as this one is, it's too late. I took a red one home a couple of months ago to try to save it, and it actually looked better than the one in the photo. The mouth never tightened and the nem never recovered.

I should also reiterate that a gaping mouth is different than an open mouth. Gaping is when the mouth appears loose, may have a wrinkled look around the edge, and is as if the nem has lost the ability to close it. Open simply means that the mouth is open, yet still tight, and sometimes the siphonoglyphs are exposed. My gigantea does it all the time.
