one of the LFS's has the above mentioned fish and they are really nice looking.
Are they different from other flasher wrasses that people keep?
Does anyone here have experience with these(Thalassoma bifasciatum)?

I would like to add one in my tank (90G), I don't have shrimp or crabs, the smallest fish I have would be the green chromis. Other tank mates are Yellow tang, blue hippo tang, 3 pJ cardinals, 2 chromis, 1 psuedochromis, and a Copper banded Butterfly and a tigertail cucke.

From reading up about them, they don't seem to bother corals but need a good amount of food.

Gary, thanks for the quick response.
Yes they are inexpensive at 20.00 a piece. I think I will pass on these fish. they are nice looking thou...

Out of curiosity, would you consider them a poor choice because they need to eat a lot and it may foul the tank?

I keep a blueheaded wrasse in my reef, Kat you met him, he is very aggressive towards small inverts. does not bother corals but if you dont have shrimp or crabs you shouldnt hve a problem. My wrasse doesnt bother any of my fish actually my yellow tang and coral beauty follow him around as he picks into the crevase's to get any tid bits that he doesnt get. they are jumpers eventhough i have had mine for 6 months now and fo the last 3 months i have been topless and not once ha hejumped out. alo he is very friendly towards me when i have my hands in the tank he rubs against my arm. Did i metion i have one pep one coral banded and one fire shrimp in my tank also? but every fish is different. If your not going to add any shrimp or crabs to your tank go for it...IMO
