Blue/Hippo Tang in with Anthias already in QT

I just received the following yesterday:
-Bartlett's Anthias x 12
-Blue Tang (really small guy maybe 1.5")

They are in a 56 gallon QT with a HOB filter with sponge that was in my DT sump, and about 5-10 lbs of live rock from the DT that I wanted to pull out anyways. I use an established bio filter so I hopefully won't have to do much in terms of water changes during the QT period. (very inconvenient where it's setup)

The Anthias are eating brine shrimp and pellets like pigs, and so is the little Blue Tang. However I just noticed that the Blue Tang appears to be rubbing himself on rocks occasionally which makes me think ich.

I've never treated with hypo or cuppermine but I'm prepared to do either. What would everyone recommend with my setup?

I'd treat with prazipro (2 doses) first week then cupramine at .35mg/L for 10 weeks.

That's the treatment all of my new fish are getting before going in the DT. I never want to have to break down my DT again..

Thanks -- I did the prazipro x 2 and I'm not seeing any issues at the moment. I'll probably run copper next to be safe.

After running prazi pro as x 2 over a week, I then removed the rock before adding cuppermine, but added extra established filter media from my DT.

I followed the cuppermine directions of .50 which I think was a mistake, 4 out of the 12 anthias have been hanging out at the bottom for the past 2 days and not eating. The other 8 are as if nothing happened.

Today I lowered the cuppermine concentration to .35, and also moved the little tang to his own 20 gallon at .35. The Anthias were aggressively out competing him, so I don't think they made great QT mates.

I'm debating whether I should just put carbon in my main QT if the Anthias keep behaving like this, I dont' want to lose any. They have all been super healthy and eating like crazy until I added the cuppermine. Thoughts?
