New addition hippo tang staying at top of tank

Blue hippo tang added last night. Only have 2 clowns plus the hippo. This morning found the hippo at top of tank in one spot not moving. I thought he was dead. Then he started swimming but now he is back at top of tank and in one spot and anchoring himself on between intake and glass.
What is wrong? Is he stressed because of new tank?

Hepatus tangs are skittish by nature. They need multiple hiding places to feel secure. Yours appears to be using the intake to hide behind.

Have you provided other options for hiding places in your aquascaping?
